Saving money on your mortgage won’t cost you a cent!

June 23, 2014momstownFamily LifeNo comments
There’s one easy way to save money on a mortgage – and I bet you didn’t know it’s FREE!

In this fast paced, cover your back world we live in, we feel the need to be the expert in EVERYTHING!  Making sure that we get the best deal and we don’t want to feel like anyone has taken advantage of us.  But wait…. Why not use the experience and expertise of those who have spent their careers being specialists in their field?  You take your car to a mechanic, go to the Doctor if you’re sick, trust your investments to your Financial Planner.  What they all have in common is that you pay them for their expertise, either through a bill, your taxes or management fees and commissions.  But it’s worth it to have the right information and recommendations.

What if you could get the information, knowledge and expertise for your home financing needs and someone else paid for it.  That’s exactly how it works with a mortgage agent/broker.  We get paid by the banks and mortgage companies, it doesn’t cost our clients anything.

So why should you use a mortgage broker?  The mortgage market has become a complex maze to navigate through, you can surf the net, find the lowest rate, only to find out that you don’t qualify under the fine print of that particular product.  Your bank gives you a rate based on your profitability, how many products you have with them.  Do you get a personalized mortgage plan? After hours appointments?  Mortgage agents/brokers spend their time researching the market daily, finding the best mortgage product and rate for each client’s particular needs.

As a long-time resident of Burlington, and a 17 year career with ScotiaBank working in Burlington, Oakville, Hamilton and Milton, I also bring corporate and community knowledge and involvement to my clients.
