Free Family Fun – City of Burlington High Five Accreditation
Saturday, June 7th for our HIGH FIVE Accreditation Celebration!
Location: Tansley Woods Community Centre (Double Gym)
Time: 1:00pm – 3:00pm
Activities: Come party with us as we celebrate our Accredited Status. Afternoon will feature pizza, cake, cupcakes. Fun activities for the whole family, and an opportunity to meet some of our summer camp staff. We will also be hosting a toonie swim for those decked out in their best purple and yellow. You can also enter a raffle for the chance to win one free week of camp at any of our City of Burlington summer locations!
On Saturday June 7th – The Moon in June course is a flat fast one loop certified 5k and 2 loop certified 10km of down town Burlington. The route highlights the fabulous Burlington Waterfront at sunset and in the darkness of night. This finish is at the search lights and party in the Civic Square at City Hall. Participants are encouraged to take advantage of the 3rd Annual Meredith’s Kids 1km fun run – this year featuring wave starts for the safety of all the children.
Awards will be given out in 5 year incremented group winners.
Sound of Music Festival Kick Off
Join us Saturday, June 7 for the Festival Kick-off at Spencer Smith Park. Enjoy free concerts in the park and later that night, help us congratulate the runners in the annual Moon in June road race in Downtown Burlington. Post race activities will be held at the park. Award presentations will take place on the Festival Stage at 10:30 pm during the evening concert
Glad Tidings Church Family Fun Day
On Saturday June 7th – Come join us for a great afternoon of games, prizes and fun!!
Car Free Street Festival (Appleby & New)
On Sunday, June 8th – The street festival promotes a vibrant, fun, healthy, involved and informed community. It also provides a venue to get people physically active in “fun” ways and supports local businesses
Car Free Street Festival (Palladium Way)
On Sunday June 8th – During a Car-Free Event the roads are closed and are off-limits to any cars so that the Burlington residents can take over the street on foot, blades or wheels. The community is given to the opportunity to come together as residents and local groups and business to promote healthy lifestyles and relationships. Everyone is welcome to join in on a day of live music, games, prizes, giveaways, refreshments and much more!

Reenactment of the Battle of Stoney Creek
June 7th & 8th Experience the drama, pageantry, and excitement of the Battle of Stoney Creek of June 6, 1813, one of the most important events in Canada's history. Discover Canadian heritage and bring the whole family to re-live, first-hand the thrill of the battle. Visit the encampment and mingle with early 19th century settlers and soldiers as they go about their daily life. Shop among one-of-a-kind merchants. Witness historical demonstrations of cooking, dancing, blacksmithing and more. Food, games, musical entertainment. Wander through the original 200 year old Gage Homestead.
June 5-8 – Ladies and gentlemen and children of all ages… step right up for three days of organized pandemonium, uncontrollable laughter, and non-stop chaos resulting in tons of family fun. The Downtown Dundas BIA is very pleased to present the annual Dundas International Buskerfest happening on King Street in Dundas. It combines the beautiful setting of this valley town, its wonderful shops and restaurants, arts, hand-made crafts, terrific foods and the world’s best street performers with terrific audiences! Free admission, free parking.
